About The Liberia Renaissance Foundation
Established in spring 2007, the Liberia Renaissance Foundation (LRF) is a 501c(3) not-for-profit organization created by Liberian Ambassador to the U.S., Milton Nathaniel Barnes and his wife Dr. Dawn Cooper-Barnes, with a remit to bring the Liberian diaspora together in celebration of the Liberian people, culture and arts. It is largely supported by financial donations and a staff of volunteers who have a passion for the African continent.As a new organization, the LRF is seeking partners from public and private sectors, individuals and entrepreneurs and members of the Liberian diaspora who have a passion and interest in the emerging potential of this now peaceful nation.
