The Aurora Foundation

LRF intends to work closely with The Aurora Foundation, Inc., a non-profit organization incorporated in Liberia in 2001 by Ambassador & Mrs. Barnes. The objective of The Aurora Foundation is to find and apply resources that will help to facilitate the economic empowerment of Liberians. The Aurora Foundation plans to continue to engage in the following activities in Liberia:
  1. Supporting orphanages
  2. Building schools and clinics
  3. Providing academic scholarships
  4. Supporting technical skills and literacy pro-grams
  5. Establishing micro-credit schemes
  6. Promoting agricultural projects
  7. Promoting arts and cultural programs
  8. Promoting a positive image of Liberia in the media
  9. Forming partnerships with others in and out of Liberia who are sensitive to the plight and potential of the Liberian people.
